Pick Fights with Voters, Win Race

It was a slow week in the mayoral campaign.  The only moments of excitement came from Weiner yelling at the people he expects to get votes from, and Quinn's various media appearances as part of her book tour.  This week's installment of the "New York City Mayoral Candidates Power Standings (or something like that)" sees Anthony Weiner holding on to the top spot.  Christine Quinn drops from second to fourth.  John Liu rises one spot to second.  Bill Thompson rises one to third.  John Catsimatidis rises one spot to fifth, while George McDonald does the same to wind up in sixth.  Bill de Blasio drops another two spots to seventh.  All of last week's greatest moments are recorded and tallied up to see who really leads in the race to be crowned King (or Queen) of New York.  We will also be incorporating some of your recommended point allocations from the previous week.

It was a slow week in the mayoral campaign.

Received three death threats in the mail

What does a non-slow week look like?

Henry, aren’t you being a bit generous with Catsimatidis, or are you giving him points for the humor factor.

Silly Henry, it is always the most hated that win elections. See Bush, Bloomberg, etc. The more vitriol you hear against Quinn, the more likely she is to win. You have to adjust your algorithms accordingly.
