Former Mayor Edward Irving Koch passed away today.  Instead of going through our usual linkage of stories, we will simply link to the major papers' coverage of his passing.  The clip above, released today by The New York Times, shows how he felt about the "Vote for Cuomo, not the homo." campaign.  A documentary on him, which he approved of, opens in theaters today.  A clip of the trailer below.
